Vinyl collection app showing records on a shelf above a sortable list of albums

A Virtual Vinyl Shelf

I had an interest in recreating analog experiences in the digital realm. The result is a hobby project I coded with Claude that allows you to view your entire vinyl collection in a fun, visual way.

Virtual Vinyl Shelf pulls album details and cover art from the Discogs API. Supabase handles the database, sign-in and the Discogs lookups. The code lives on GitHub and deploys through Vercel. I built it with Claude Code, working in short sessions with documented decisions along the way.

Users can display their records facing outward or inward. Color, texture, wear, and print grain are all derived from the cover art.

Filters apply instantly as you pick them.
